Today's Activist Planning List
Not saying everyone has to do all of this, but just giving you a window into what planning an event like the block walk summit is like. We are not pros, we are everyday people like y'all. We just have a few months head start.
This is just my (Rebecca's) list and to be more specific just my Swingtx7leftlist. I actually do other stuff too. If I am organized and do this again tomorrow, you will notice that some things will still be on tomorrow's list. I do not usually get everything done (from a recovering perfectionist, I will now tell myself and all of you: that is okay).
Rebecca's Swingtx7left To Do List 12/28/17

- Mull over student voter initiative strategy for January-early February
Like many important projects it is easy to get distracted by other "must do" tasks such as being a short-order cook for the kids or making the house sparkling clean...I am not suggesting that I will starve my kids, but in the name of getting things done they can sometimes be encouraged to find the refrigerator by themselves and as for the housekeeping; the dust bunnies can be left in peace for now. Flipping the House is more important than no dust on the top ledge of the cupboards. So, go make a list of things you are going to do to help us flip this thing and start doing some of the stuff on it.
